PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION
The purpose of the Parent-Teacher Association is to bring the home and the school into closer relation, so that parents and teachers may cooperate in the education of the child. The annual dues of the Sasebo PTO is $5 per family, and all other income is obtained from fund-raising events and other activities as approved by the general membership and MWR. Such fund-raisers have included book fairs, school photos, bake sales, Walk-a-Thons, carnivals, and popcorn sales. All of these events depend on the support of volunteer parents and teachers who are willing to give their time and energy to make these activities successful. It cannot be done without your help. The money raised is used for classroom purchases and school activities/events, and to pay General School Aides.
